The University of Massachusetts Medical School issued the following press release:
The University of Massachusetts Medical School and the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) today announced the launch of the International Stem Cell Registry (ISCR). As an initial component of Governor Deval Patrick's 10-year, $1 billion Life Sciences Initiative, the ISCR received a $570,000 grant from the MLSC.
"This is an important step forward as we continue to make strategic investments in growing industries in Massachusetts, including the life sciences," said Governor Patrick.
