WIPO: Inventors in Israel Develop Functional Printed Circuit Boards

GENEVA, Sept. 12 - Kfir Biton of Halfa, Israel, and Yosh Dollberg of Raanana, Israel, have developed functional printed circuit boards.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention concerns "systems and methods for producing functional printed circuit boards. It is intended that the systems and methods described herein will allow the production of functional PCBs in a more efficient and less labor- and equipment-intensive manner than may be obtained using conventional production methods."

The invention carries International Patent Publication No. WO/2008/102266 on Aug. 28.
