Article: NAVAL AIR STATION WHITING FIELD REMEMBERS 9/11

Naval Air Station Whiting Field (NASWF) held a remembrance ceremony to honor the the lives of victims of the terrorists' attacks and the heroism of their rescuers.

The commemoration and the lowering of the flag to half staff provided the base personnel an opportunity to recall the events of Sept. 11, 2001 and to rededicate their promise to "Never Forget!"

"As we look back, we should remember all those who perished as well as those who came to their aid," said Capt. Enrique Sadsad, NASWF commanding officer. "It is important that we remember what our fellow Americans have done."
