HUMAN TRAFFICKING EXPERT APPEARS ON RADIO PROGRAM 'STATE OF AFFAIRS' SEPT. 17

The University of Kentucky issued the following news release:

A human trafficking expert from the University of Kentucky will appear on the radio program "State of Affairs" on Louisville NPR affiliate WFPL from 11 to noon Thursday.

TK Logan, professor of behavioral science at UK's College of Medicine and the Center on Drug and Alcohol Research, will appear as part of a panel discussing the crime of human trafficking.

A recent report by Logan, "Human Trafficking in Kentucky," found that human trafficking cases in Kentucky have been identified in agricultural, farm, restaurant and domestic labor industries as well as in prostitution.
