The New Mexico Department of Economic Development issued the following news release:

Sean Ormand, President and CEO of the First New Mexico Bank of Silver City has been elected Vice Chairman of the New Mexico Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors. Mr. Ormand was appointed to the board of directors by Governor Richardson in 2006 and represents Region 5. Ormand will be taking the place of Steve Vierck, long time board member and past Vice Chair.
