The city of Palmdale issued the following news release:

The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) paid tribute to the Palmdale Fall Festival, produced by the City of Palmdale, on September 10, 2008 during the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Ceremony held at the IFEA's 53rd Annual Convention & Expo in Boise, Idaho, where they were presented with three awards in the prestigious competition. The Palmdale Fall Festival won awards in the following categories, for events with budgets $250,000 to $749,999:

Gold, Best Single Newspaper Display Ad, Palmdale Fall Festival

Silver, Best Ad Series, Palmdale Fall Festival

Bronze, Grand Pinnacle, Palmdale Fall Festival
