Article: Pittsburghers Speak Out: What would a grocery store mean to the Hill District?

On Aug. 9 a community development meeting was held to explain two proposals for a grocery store in the Hill District. One of the store's was Kuhn's Market, the other was Save A Lot. There hasn't been a grocery store in the Hill in decades. We asked participants at the community development meet what a grocery store would mean to the Hill District. Here's what you said.

"There is a tremendous need for a grocery store in the Hill. The residents have a very difficult time getting groceries. The sooner we get one, the better the community will be."
