I appreciate the opportunity to clarify my viewpoint as the author of ajournai article entitled "An Evidence-based Approach for Dietitian Prescription of Multiple Vitamins with Minerals" (1), which was referenced in the recent article entitled "Should Long-Term Care Residents Be Supplemented With Vitamin D?" (2)
Tracy Lister's article is welcomed and it will be added to our literature review when the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee re-examines the approach to vitamin D supplementation at our institution.
