The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has voted to institute an investigation of certain automotive multimedia display and navigation systems, components thereof, and products containing same. The products at issue in this investigation are factory installed and aftermarket navigation systems for automobiles.

The investigation is based on a complaint filed by Honeywell International Inc. of Morristown, NJ, on August 19, 2008.
