The U.S. International Trade Commission issued the following press release:
The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has voted to institute an investigation of certain automotive multimedia display and navigation systems, components thereof, and products containing same. The products at issue in this investigation are factory installed and aftermarket navigation systems for automobiles.
The investigation is based on a complaint filed by Honeywell International Inc. of Morristown, NJ, on August 19, 2008. The complaint alleges violations of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 in the importation into the United States and sale of certain automotive multimedia display and navigation ...
