Article: Sen. Brown Introduces Resolution Concerning Exportation of Toxic Electronic Waste to Developing Nations

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 663) "expressing concern over the current federal policy that allows the exportation of toxic electronic waste to developing nations, and expressing the sense of the Senate that the U.S. should join other developed nations and ban the exportation of toxic electronic waste to developing nations."

The resolution was introduced on Sept. 17. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
