WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- Rep. Hilda L. Solis, D-California, has introduced the Juvenile Justice Reform Act of 2008 (H.R. 6934), legislation that would "amend and improve the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974."

The bill was introduced on Sept. 17. It was referred to the House Education and Labor Committee.
