LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles Dodgers manager Joe Torre briefly watched last weekend's retrospective during the final game at 85-year-old Yankee Stadium, even though he was never mentioned by his former team.
"I didn't think of that part," Torre said yesterday before his NL West-leading Dodgers opened a three-game series against San Diego. "I didn't know my name wasn't mentioned until someone mentioned it to me."
No mention was made either of Roger Clemens, whose legacy has been clouded by accusations he used performance-enhancing drugs.
If Torre felt slighted, he kept it to himself.
