Article: South Korean Inventors Develop Image Sensor Packages Testing Apparatus

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 25 -- Young-Seok Kim, Hwan-Chul Lee and Jae-Cheol Ju, all from Incheon, South Korea, have developed a method for testing packages.

An abstract of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, said: "The present invention relates to an apparatus, unit and method for testing image sensor packages, which can automatically test whether the image sensor packages are defective before they are assembled into camera modules.
