Article: REP. SMITH SECURES $360,000 FOR NEW BRAUNFELS FLOOD PROJECT

Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas (21st CD), issued the following news release:

Congressman Lamar Smith announced today that at his request $360,000 from FEMA for the City of New Braunfels Flood Project was included in the Continuing Resolution spending bill, which was passed by the House of Representatives. The funding will be used for planning and engineering to address persistent flooding that affects the ability of emergency services to access the city.
