The city of Farmington Hills issued the following news release:
The Farmington Hills Police Department is pleased to announce the graduation of the first annual Crime Prevention Kids Club Patrol School. Patrol School participants were presented with certificates of completion by Police Chief Richard Niemisto at the graduation ceremony on Sunday, September 21, 2008. The graduation ceremony was held in the police department Training Room.
The two day Kids Club Patrol School provided students with a number of educational presentations including a K-9 demonstration, radar and laser training, 9-1-1 and communications education, bicycle patrol tactics and road patrol objectives.
