The State University of New York's Genesee Community College issued the following news release:

Just in time for leaf peepers and happy hikers' autumn walks, Genesee Community College announces the grand reopening of its Nature Trail on the southwestern fringe the College's Batavia campus. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Trail's entrance. The ceremony will be held rain or shine, and will feature specially suited refreshments and decorations such as granola bars, GORP (good old raisins and peanuts), locally produced apple cider served in recyclable cups, and a ribbon made from 100% recycled or natural materials including turkey feathers ...
