The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
The Town of Sturgeon Bay has applied for a 50% matching grant from Wisconsin's Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program to assist with the purchase of land. The Town of Sturgeon Bay in Door County will provide a match to the grant award.
The property located in the Town of Sturgeon Bay is 4.9 acres and has 1,485 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline. The property will be left in its natural state and will be open to the public for low impact recreational activities including hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, cross country skiing, non-motorized boat access, ...
