Former Restaurateur, Broadcom Worker Start Do-Good Eatery

Flap Jack's pancake restaurant in Füllerton aims to serve in more ways than one.

The restaurant, opening next month, is set to cook up pancakes and other break last food. Proceeds will fund Angels Wings international Inc., a nonprofit that helps children ami is based alongside the restaurant.

"Every pancake we flip, we want it to help families in need," said Scott Smith, a real estate investor and former Hroadcom Corp. employee who's one of the founders of Angels Wings.

The other founder is Ron Voll, a retired pancake restaurateur with 50 years of experience.
