This issue is dedicated to the memory of Danielle A. Parks

Danielle A. Parks was the only daughter of Linda and Michael Parks. Her father's position as foreign correspondent for The Los Angeies Times resulted in a globe-hopping childhood. A bachelors in Classics from Brown University led to a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in 1999 followed by a successful career in the Department of Classics at Brock University.

After a first visit to Cyprus with a CAARI fellowship in 1991 Danielle never looked back. She was a great networker and as a result quickly made numerous friends and remained extraordinary active in Cypnot studies thereafter.
