Mercer County issued the following news release:

Owning a home is big part of the American dream and Mercer County would like to help families achieve that dream through the Mercer County First-time Homebuyer Program Workshops.

Buying a home is likely the largest transaction an individual can make, but also the most confusing and complicated.

"Mercer County is again offering assistance to potential homeowners through our First-time Homebuyer Program, and I invite you to sit in on one of the upcoming workshops to learn more about the lending process, particularly during this tumultuous economic time for buyers and lenders alike," said Mercer County Executive Brian M.
