The Plains Anthropological Society format for articles submitted for publication has been printed in the February 1987 (Vol. 32, No. 115) issue of Plains Anthropologist. The format closely follows the Society for American Archaeology journal format which is available on the WEB at http://www.saa.org/ Publications/StyleGuide/styframe.html.

The most common problem seen in articles submitted for publication in Plains Anthropologist is the format for references.
