Article: To Provide Resource to Wood Industry, 'Lumber from Hardwoods' Was Created

Purdue University issued the following news release:

In an industry where valuable information can be hard to come by, Dan Cassens, Purdue University professor of forestry and natural resources, has helped create the new "Lumber from Hardwoods" CD aimed at helping woodworkers and sawmills of all sizes.

Featured on the disc are 35 hardwood species used for lumber, including detailed photographs that can be enlarged for printing.
