Sheridan College Students Hosting Native American Days

Sheridan College issued the following news release:
Sheridan College student activities board will be hosting Native American Days Fri. and Sat., October 10-11. Activities will include storytelling, vendors serving Indian tacos, and a dance competition.
"The students recognize the importance of celebrating the cultural heritage of Native Americans," said Campus Activities Coordinator, Carol Garcia. "We are excited to bring the Powwow events to Sheridan and hopeful that this will become an annual event." All activities are on the Sheridan College campus in the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.
Activities begin with storytelling to local grade school students at 10 a.m. ...
