The city of Reno issued the following news release:

Reno firefighters are urging area residents to take advantage of the Reno Fire Department's next CPR Saturday class on October 18 that can help them save a life when a heart-related emergency occurs.

The Reno Fire Department's "CPR Saturday" Program provides Heartsaver CPR training to area residents so they can provide immediate help to loved ones, neighbors and others when a heart attack strikes. About 180 area residents take the four hour class each year. The training, held on the third Saturday of each month, also teaches students what to do when someone's airway is blocked, and how to perform CPR on infants and children. The classes, ...
