In true DIY style, Portland's Blitzen Trapper have blazed their own indie/alt-country trail, self-releasing their first three albums: Blitzen Trapper (2003), Field Rexx (2004) and Wild Mountain Nation (2007). Finally, after the success of their last record, the band caught the attention of indie-giant Sup Pop Records and is now set to release their highly anticipated fourth album Furr on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
