Survey: Most upstate contractors feel good about economy

SYRACUSE - A slight majority of upstate New York contractors in a recent survey feel optimistic about the economy.

The Bonadio Group's 2008 Contractors State of the Industry Study for upstate New York found that 51 percent of the contractors surveyed felt either very optimistic or slightly optimistic in their outlook on the state of the overall economy. Another 24 percent described themselves as neutral.

The remaining quarter was either slightly pessimistic or very pessimistic.
