The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news release:
Dennis Moore's newest ad is a cynical attempt to gloss over years of ineffective, do-nothing partisanship with a mere thirty seconds of distortions and dishonesty.
The most outrageous of Moore's claims is the one at the center of his ad. He attempts to dupe voters into believing that he is "working across party lines," when in reality, Moore is one of the most partisan members of Congress and sides with his do-nothing Democrat leadership at nearly every turn. In fact, Moore is the most partisan member of the Kansas congressional delegation (CQ 2007 Party Unity Score).
