ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 7 -- Juha Raatikainen of Joensuu, Finland, has developed a door lock with a lock case.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A door lock includes a latch bolt and an auxiliary bolt. A stop member is supported by the auxiliary bolt and is movable relative to the auxiliary bolt between a position in which it prevents a guide element moving to a position providing deadlocking of the latch bolt, while the auxiliary bolt is in a protruding position, and a position in which it allows the guide element to move to a position providing the deadlocking of the latch bolt.
