Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin on Thursday held discussions with its Italian counterpart, Franco Frattini in Rome.
The discussion focused on bilateral and regional issues. the strengthening of development cooperation particularly in energy sector was core of the discussion.
Foreign Minister Seyoum appreciated the contribution of the Italian government for the return and re-erection of the Axum obelisk to its original place.
Seyoum underlined the incident as a landmark for opening a new chapter for further cooperation between the two countries. …
