VA's latest misstep of prescribing a drug that causes potential suicidal behavior in veterans diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has VFW calling for resignations at the department.
"Those in VA who failed to properly notify America's veterans that their medication could produce fatal side effects must resign their positions," according to a VFW statement. "If not, then the VA secretary must take decisive action to terminate their employment."
