The city of Virginia Beach issued the following press release:
Virginia Beach Public Library celebrates Teen Read Month in October, encouraging teens to come into their library, interact and chat with each other and to read for fun. Teen Read Week is held nationally each year during the third week of October, but Virginia Beach Public Library places its own spin on the observance, extending it to a month of library fun.
Virginia Beach public libraries are hosting a variety of events and programs around the theme "Books with bite @ your library," including mystery nights, book chats, gaming events, scary movies, contests and more. Teen Read Month culminates with Twilight Masquerade on Oct. ...
