Article: WIPO: Inventor in Italy Develops Peak Flow Discharging Measurement Method

GENEVA, Oct. 11 - Tullio Tucciarelli of Palermo, Italy, has developed a measurement method.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention concerns a "measurement system for measuring peak flow discharges comprising at least two water level measurement instruments, including radar sensors or other suitable sensors placed outside the stream flow, located at suitable distance from each other in correspondence with respective channel sections; the shape of the channel between the sections varying gradually or, however, with known law."
