Article: AIR GUARD ENDS FISCAL YEAR OVER STRENGTH

The Air National Guard recently closed its books for fiscal year 2008 and labeled it as an "outstanding recruiting year."

Air Guard Recruiting and Retention director, Lt. Col. Randy Johnson said a team of recruiters and retainers across the nation as well as state leadership, celebrity performers and the Air Guard Readiness Center's staff were responsible for their historic recruiting and retention success this year.

"I am proud of being a part of something so amazing," said Johnson. "This marks the first time in five years the Air Guard has made end strength!"
