WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 -- Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Missouri, has introduced a bill (S. 3589) to "designate the Liberty Memorial at the National World War I Museum in Kansas City, Missouri, as the National World War I Memorial."

The bill, introduced on Sept. 24, was co-sponsored by Sen. Kit Bond, R-Missouri. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
