Article: Rep. Sali Introduces Resolution Concerning Congressional Earmarks

WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 -- Rep. Bill Sali, R-Idaho, has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 1515) "amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to strengthen the point of order against the consideration of congressional earmarks."

The resolution, introduced on Sept. 27, was co-sponsored by Reps. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Maryland, and Pete Sessions, R-Texas. It was referred to the House Rules Committee and House Standards of Official Conduct Committee.
