Article: WIPO: Inventors in Japan Develop Porous Ceramic Material Production Method

GENEVA, Oct. 16 - Tomoya Kuwayama and Yuji Hotta, both of Okayama, Japan, have developed a production method.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a "method for producing a porous ceramic material which can induce the formation of a tissue (e.g., a bone tissue) rapidly and has a practically useful strength, a method for producing a porous ceramic material."

The invention carries International Patent Publication No. WO/2008/111432 on Sept. 18.
