Article: Japanese Inventors Develop Telephone Number Managing Apparatus

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 17 -- Hironobu Oshika, Kazutoshi Kobayashi, Takashi Ueno and Shoichi Kimura, all from Yokohama, Japan, have developed a device for managing telephone number.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A storing unit stores a regular telephone number of a user and a provisional telephone number corresponding to the regular telephone number. An acquiring unit acquires a provisional telephone number of a receiver and a regular telephone number of a caller who called at the provisional telephone number of the receiver.
