The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency has issued the following press release:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture designated a total of 29 counties in Wisconsin as primary natural disaster areas ? 24 for flooding, 4 other counties for freezing conditions, and one other county for the combined effects of drought, freeze and frost.
These 24 counties in Wisconsin were designated as primary natural disaster areas because of losses caused by flooding that occurred on June 15, 2008, and continuing:
