Article: Italian Inventors Develop Glucosamine Compound Preparation Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- Marcello Marchetti and Tommaso Iacoangeli, both of Rome, Mario Pinza of Corsico, Italy, Franca Segnalini of Latina, Italy, and Francesco De Vita of Aprilia, Italy, have developed a method for preparing a glucosamine compound, and to a compound thus obtained, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office announced.

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,435,812 on Oct. 14.
