Article: Texas Inventor Develops Radio Frequency Signal Processing System

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 30 -- Adam Stanislaw Wyszynski of Plano, Texas, has developed a method for processing radio frequency signal.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In a video intermediate frequency (IF) channel the gain of the circuit is achieved ahead of the IF filter and the output of the filter, including its noise, need only be amplified a relatively small amount, thus preserving an acceptable signal to noise ratio. In one embodiment, a variable gain amplifier is used as the first stage amplifier and a fixed gain amplifier is used for the output stage."

The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,444,126 on Oct. 28.
