GENEVA, Nov. 3 - Haaije Rimmer De Vries of Rotterdam, Netherlands, Pierre Gelissen of Ijssel, Netherlands, and Takefumi Ayashi of Saitama, Japan, have developed an apparatus for observing an eye.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to an "apparatus for observing an eye comprises an imaging device that is provided with a magnification unit and an observation unit. The magnification unit has an objective lens for receiving observation light rays from the eye."
The invention carries International Patent Publication No. WO/2008/115060 on Sept. 25.
