Article: Austrian Inventors Develop Head Restraint Adjuster

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 7 -- Robert Kopetzky of Graz, Austria, and Walter Schindlegger of Seitensletten, Austria, have developed a adjuster for head restraint.

According to a description of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to an adjuster for the vertical adjustment of a head restraint, for example, a head restraint of a seat in a motor vehicle."

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,445,290 on Nov. 4.

The patent has been assigned to Schukra Geratebau AG, Berndorf, Austria.
