Thlrty years after the genocide, Cambodia lives separated from the greater part of Its cultural heritage, especially Its audio-visual heritage. The mission of the Bophana Center is to recover, assemble, and safeguard the audio-visual archives that have survived, and to collect copies of material linked to Cambodia around the world. Another mission is to offer free access to the public.
