Q You got your degree while dancing, so what kind of advice do you have for dancers who are trying to make it work?
A New York City Ballet principal Jenifer Ringer I would just say that it's more possible than many people think. I took one class a semester on my days off and doubled up in the summers, during layoffs or if I was injured. School gave me a mental break from the stresses of ballet, increased my self-esteem as a well-rounded person and enabled me to bring new layers and richness to my dancing. Most colleges will bend over backward to help dancers get their degrees because dancers make such excellent students. And ...
