On Nov. 8-12, San Diego will host the 115th Annual International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference and Exposition. California's second largest city and one of the top 10 largest in the U.S., San Diego boasts a citywide population of nearly 1.3 million residents.

The San Diego Police Headquarters is located at 1401 Broadway. Chief William Lansdowne was sworn in as chief of police on Aug. 4, 2003. Lansdowne is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and has served on a variety of state and national boards, including the Major Cities Chiefs and the National Conference for Community and Justice.
