SIXTY YEARS AGO
Brandon's gift to the new British prince will be a Rokoral, a combined crib, rocker and piece of utility furniture invented by Roy Brown of this city.
The long-awaited provincial cheque for $79,237.85, promised to the City of Brandon last year at the time of the provincial-municipal agreement and carried on the city's books as an account receivable since that time, finally arrived this morning.
