The office of the Prime Minister issued the following news release:
Prime Minister Andrus Ansip met today with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev. The state of the relations between the two countries and opportunities for future cooperation, both at a bilateral level and between Azerbaijan and the European Union, were discussed at the meeting. Prime Minister Ansip affirmed that Estonia is seeking closer economic ties with Azerbaijan, which would be greatly assisted by the lifting of the visa requirement for Estonian citizens.
