MISCOR acquires California motor shop
Industrial services provider MISCOR Group Ltd. of South Bend, Ind., has bought the business and assets of Visalia Electric Motor Shop, Inc., of Visalia, Calif., a provider of repair, maintenance, and overhaul services for mission-critical motors and generators. Visalia's roster of customers covers 14 western states.
MISCOR says the addition will expand the wind-generation repair and maintenance capabilities of its Magnetech Industrial Services subsidiary, of which the Visalia business will become a part.
