San Francisco - Approaches to the treatment of androgenetic alopecia are constantly evolving, but it may be some time before any significant changes reach the dermatologist's desk.

About 60 percent of the dermatology practice of Vera Price, M.D., professor of dermatology, University of California, San Francisco, deals with issues of hair.
