The city of Virginia Beach issued the following press release:

At the Virginia Beach City Council meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 19, the City Council voted to amend the ordinance changing the schedule for City Council meetings. As of January 1, 2009, the City Council will hold two workshops per month and two formal meetings per month rather than one workshop and three meetings per month as in the past.

Regular formal meetings of the City Council will be held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall Building, Municipal Center, Virginia Beach, on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each ...
